As a child, Dr. Tramel labored with his mother and other family members to feed over 200 people in need every Sunday morning. These early childhood experiences birthed in him a love for serving his fellow man. Now as a dental hygienist in alternative practice, he has reinvigorated his love for dentistry by bringing mobile dental care to people who may have limited access to care, and most recently reaching further into the community to bring relief during this global pandemic. Several months after COVID-19 began to deeply impact our communities, Dr. Tramel realized that there were many people affected by job loss, and children lacking proper nutrition due to school closures.

He presented the idea of a Pull-up Pick-up Resource Fair to Pacific Healthcare Services Inc (PHSI) to make food and other necessities available to the community. PHSI embraced the idea immediately. Food and supplies have been distributed in Bakersfield since the fall of 2020. Currently, PHSI partners with multiple community organizations to provide these Pull-up Pick-up Resource Fairs.
